It's been a hectic, joyful, hilarious, calorie-intense two weeks and I am loathe to leave them. We spent time with most of our children and grandchildren, my sister from Florida, my neice and her husband from Paris, and old friends who came by for cocktails, brunch, or an overnight visit.

We feel truly blessed, and hope that 2009 brings you all peace, prosperity, good health and many sweet surprises.
